Magical Portinatx: A Different Side of Ibiza

Magical Portinatx has something we’re particularly drawn to: it doesn’t try to be like the rest of Ibiza. Set in the north of the island, away from the crowds and the usual hotspots, it has carved out a character of its own — one shaped by music, atmosphere and a slower, more spontaneous pace.

Our work starts there: translating that distinctive personality into a digital presence that feels true to the place. At La Siesta, we manage Magical’s social media and create content throughout the season, building a consistent visual and editorial language rooted in its surroundings.

Photography, video, design and social content come together to capture Magical from different angles: its music programme, the atmosphere, the people who pass through and the wider setting that makes Portinatx what it is. From nearby coves to the walk towards the lighthouse, the landscape becomes part of the story — and part of that more relaxed, unhurried way of experiencing summer in the north.

We’re especially interested in places that have more to say than what’s on the menu or what happens within their four walls. With Magical, our role has been to identify what makes it distinctive and turn that into content in an effortless, natural way — fresh, approachable and as laid-back as a summer afternoon in Portinatx.

This project is a reminder that when a place already has a strong identity, content doesn’t need to be overworked. It simply needs to be told in the right way.
