Mangia’s Sardinia: A Production Inspired by Dolce Far Niente

For this new production for Mangia’s Sardinia, we developed a content creation shoot designed to capture the essence of the resort and its connection to the Sardinian landscape. The project was inspired by Dolce Far Niente: literally, the pleasure of doing nothing—of letting go, enjoying your surroundings, and appreciating those small moments that arise naturally. A philosophy that feels very much like La Siesta!

The production took place across different areas of the hotel and its surroundings, combining architecture, nature, and Mediterranean lifestyle. To showcase the different ways of experiencing Mangia’s Sardinia and reflect its varied guest profiles, we worked with a family with two young children, a group of friends, and a couple. Each profile allowed us to create a distinct set of scenes: family days spent together, plans with friends, and moments of calm and connection as a couple. We were also joined by Oriana, the hotel’s yoga instructor, with whom we created a particularly beautiful and natural part of the shoot.

Throughout the session, we produced lifestyle, gastronomy, and hospitality content, blending more carefully directed scenes with spontaneous moments. Sardinia’s distinctive light, textures, and colours shaped the visual direction of the project, creating a warm, elegant, and sensory aesthetic.

The result is a collection of images and audiovisual pieces that present Mangia’s Sardinia as more than just a hotel: a Mediterranean retreat where time seems to stand still and luxury lies in simplicity. An invitation to experience Sardinia through tranquillity, landscape, and the authentic spirit of Dolce Far Niente.
